DAVENPORT, Calif. — Local water and wastewater customers can review recent public documents about how their small coastal utility is operated. Santa Cruz County’s Davenport County Sanitation District page links to the 2025 Consumer Confidence Report for drinking water and a cost-management report dated June 30, 2026.
What does the district handle?
Santa Cruz County says the district provides treated drinking water and wastewater collection, treatment and disposal within the Davenport service area. It is funded through charges to connected residents and businesses. The county cautions that its district does not provide water to most other Santa Cruz County communities outside its boundaries.
What information can customers inspect?
The consumer confidence report is the place to examine published water-quality monitoring information. The cost-management reports help residents follow utility costs and operations. The presence of these reports does not by itself establish that the water passes every individual household plumbing test or that a future rate increase has been approved.
Who makes policy?
The Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors acts as the district board of directors, with agenda items published through the county meeting system. For questions about bills, operations, water quality or project records, the county lists 831-454-2160.
